What you need to craft a bed in Minecraft
Wood:
You need wood to craft a bed. Search a tree and chop it down. Your lumberjack skill will help you to make small wood blocks fall to the ground, Collect and gather these blocks. You can use tools and fists even weapons to chop down. But you can not use a sword.
Wool:
You also need wool to craft a bed. Find some sheeps that are found near trees. You need to kill the sheeps to take wool from them or use the shear tool. Shear tool is to take wool from sheeps without killing them. Color of wool is the same as sheep’s fur.
Step By Step To Craft a Bed
Step 1:
Open your Crafting Table. Take one wood block from your inventory and put it in any one slot of the crafting grid. 1 wood block will become 4 wood plank blocks.
Step 2:
Drag four wood plank blocks you get from 1 wood block into your inventory. You need three wood plank blocks to make a bed.
Step 3:
Put one wood plank block into each of the bottom three squares in the crafting grid. Make sure they are all in the bottom row Like below picture. This is important for correct crafting.
Step 4:
Put one wool block of the same color into each of the last three squares in the crafting grid. They must be all in the last row. This is very important to make the correct item.
